Automotive Transmission/Gear Design&Development-AGM

We are seeking a talented and experienced Automotive Transmission Design and Development Engineers to join the team. The ideal candidate should have extensive knowledge of automotive transmission systems and a strong background in design and development. In this role, you will be responsible for creating cutting-edge transmission solutions that meet the highest standards of performance, efficiency, and reliability.

Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand customer requirements and develop innovative transmission designs accordingly.

- Conduct research and analysis to identify industry trends and new technologies that can be incorporated into transmission design and development processes.

- Utilize CAD software and other tools to create detailed design models and specifications for automotive transmissions.

- Perform engineering calculations and simulations to ensure the strength, durability, and performance of transmission systems.

- Support prototype builds and conduct testing to validate design concepts and identify areas for improvement.

- Collaborate with suppliers to source and select appropriate transmission components and materials.

- Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations throughout the design and development process.

- Create and maintain detailed documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.

- Stay updated with the latest advancements in automotive transmission technology and apply this knowledge to enhance product designs.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

- 5-15 years of experience in automotive transmission design and development.

- In-depth understanding of automotive transmission systems, including various types (manual, automatic, dual-clutch, etc.), components, and operating principles.

- Proficiency in CAD software, such as CATIA, SolidWorks, or Siemens NX.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply engineering principles and simulations to optimize transmission designs.

- Experience in prototype testing, data analysis, and troubleshooting.

- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations, such as ISO, SAE, and OEM-specific requirements.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

- Strong project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
