Role & responsibilities

• Support R&D engineers in concept design, CAD modeling, and drawing preparation.
• Assist in prototype fabrication, assembly, and testing of mechanical and tooling components.
• Conduct measurement, data collection, and analysis during product trials.
• Help in documentation of design changes, test results, and engineering reports.
• Coordinate with production, quality, and design teams to implement new developments.
• Maintain records for BOM (Bill of Materials) and part drawings.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects (Kaizen, 5S, Value Engineering).
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards during all R&D activities.

Required Skills

• Good knowledge of engineering fundamentals (Mechanical / Automobile / Tool Design).
• Proficiency in CAD tools like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or CATIA.
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and materials.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
