Were seeking an Art Director who thinks beyond aestheticssomeone who connects brand, business, and creative intelligence to shape the visual identity of our fitness products across every touchpoint. Youll turn business goals and marketing insights into trend-aware, emotionally resonant visuals that drive performance. From concept to final assetproduct videos, campaign imagery, web, social, or in-app experiencesyour ideas will define how our brand looks, feels, and performs.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Vision & Direction
- Lead creative ideation across campaigns, product visuals, and marketing assets (web, social, ads, and digital experiences).
- Translate briefs into emotionally compelling, commercially aligned concepts and narratives.
- Ensure visual realism and brand relevance (e.g., placing equipment in lifestyle-appropriate settings: living rooms, studios, gyms).
- Establish and maintain a high bar for craft, clarity, and consistency across all assets.
Strategic Thinking & Market Awareness
- Understand audience, product USP, and business objectives to inform creative direction.
- Conduct competitor/market analysis to identify whitespace and differentiation opportunities.
- Ensure every creative output strengthens brand perception and improves marketing effectiveness (CTR/CVR, engagement, retention).
Trend & AI Innovation
- Stay current on visual, motion, and AI trends; champion next-gen tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, Veo, Luma).
- Lead experiments in AI-generated visuals, prompt-based art direction, and smart workflows to elevate quality and efficiency.
- Define best practices for blending creativity and AI to deliver fresh, high-impact marketing visuals.
Creative Feedback & Mentorship
- Review concepts, images, and videos; provide precise, actionable feedback aligned to objectives and audience psychology.
- Mentor designers, editors, and motion artists to think strategically about design intent, story, and emotional tone.
- Raise the team's creative bar by teaching what makes visuals perform in ads and campaigns.
Collaboration & Delivery
- Partner closely with Product, Marketing, and Video teams to ensure brand consistency and goal alignment.
- Own the creative process end-to-end—from brief and moodboards to production and final delivery—on time and on brand.
- Plan timelines, manage creative resources, and maintain clear communication across cross-functional stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 6–10 years of experience in art direction or visual design, with proven multi-channel brand work (web, social, product, video).
- Strong portfolio demonstrating storytelling, system-level brand thinking, and performance-minded visuals.
- Expertise in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma; solid grasp of motion/animation principles (After Effects, Premiere, or equivalents).
- Hands-on familiarity with AI creative tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, Veo, Luma) and prompt-based direction.
- Comfort translating marketing KPIs and insights into creative decisions; A/B testing mindset.
- Excellent communication, feedback, and presentation skills; experience mentoring creatives.
- Experience in fitness, consumer hardware, or D2C brands is a plus.
