About Business line/Function: ARVAL Service Lease

Arval is car renting company with Services, for professional entities and more recently, opened to retail market. Serving 30 countries with the goal to be the best in class both for customer satisfaction and innovation (Partnership, new technologies, etc…)

One IT is the IT department from the company. Finance & Risk Tribe is in charge of developing and maintaining all the IT assets in relationship with Finance and Risk activity from the company. It is composed of 3 Products: Finance (2 Squads: Accounting system for G4 and Accounting system for Dynamos countries), Securitization, Billing and Financial reporting (2 squads: Securitization and Billing & Financial Reporting) and Transversal Platforms (2 squads: EDM-Electronic documents and e-Signature, and International Systems managing the Credit collections, the accounting interpretation and the Group Consolidations.

Position Purpose

The OBIEE developer/engineer is in charge of developing or modifying OBIEE reports according to the technical specifications in order to bring the added expected value to the Business.

Production or UAT environments supports activities are also part of the position (job monitoring, issues solving, …)

Responsibilities
Direct Responsibilities

• Work with development team to implement OBIEE / OAS and Analytics Publisher reports.
• Work closely with other development teams and other DB architect and developers to set up interfaces and procedures by following the best practices / conventions within the team
• Help deploy components to UAT and production environments, handle bug-fixes/Vulnerabilities, apply patches and implement possible system redesigns during these periods.
• Consult with users, management, and technical personnel to clarify business requirements, identify problems, and suggest changes / best practices.
• Maintain and support existing OBIEE / OAS reports/SQL queries/Analytical Publisher reports.
• Participate to all the Agile ceremonies of the squad (Dailys, Sprint plannings, backlog refinements, reviews, etc…)
• Communicate ASAP on the blocking points
• Estimate and develop, according to the company standards, the functionalities according to the Jira requirements (Change, bug fixing, …).
• Do the unit tests of the code developed in order to deliver the code for user acceptance test.

Contributing Responsibilities

• Accountable to deliver the amount of jira tickets assigned to him/her during a sprint
• Accountable to do the daily supports on the inbound flows (jobs) and user interface in the perimeter of the Risk & billing or Securitization squad
• Accountable to contribute to the Engineer Chapter events and OBIEE Tribe community (Guild with the Engineer Techlead)

• Ability to develop reporting solutions using OBIEE / OAS, Data Visualizer and Analytics Publisher
• Implement reporting in tabular/pivot/graphical forms using OBIEE / OAS features
• Ability to schedule OAS/Analytical Publisher reports
• Knowledge of OBIEE/ OAS architecture, server components
• Understanding of system security principles, specifically around user authorization and authentication methods and technologies in OBIEE/ OAS. Implement security in OAS using application roles/groups and policies
• Knowledge about usage tracking in OBIEE/ OAS
• Knowledge on creating projects, data flow and data sets in Data Visualizer
• Assisting user queries over Data Visualizer
• Strong Programming work experience in PL/SQL, query optimization skills
• Ability to read and edit Unix shell script files
• Ability to read and edit XML, properties and configuration files
• Understanding of standard n-tier systems architecture, systems processes and principles Configuration and operation of Web application servers (WebLogic) is an added advantage
• Experience with Unix (Linux) operating systems and associated hardware platforms and peripherals
• Working knowledge of Oracle databases and data warehouses
• Understanding of dimensionality and normality database concepts
• Strong customer interaction skills and ability to assess a client's IT processes and strategies.

• Exposure in BFSI Domain.
