Role & responsibilities

  • Overseeing the administrative functions of the unit.
  • Responsible for daily deployment of staff according to the bed occupancy & nurse ratio.
  • Preparation of the patients for minor, major and emergency surgeries.
  • To monitor raising of various requisitions related to treatments and nursing procedures by coordinating with ward coordinator.
  • To monitor that the pain assessment of the patient is done periodically.
  • To monitor and provide department and unit specific orientation on policies including biomedical equipments, resuscitative techniques etc to the staff.
  • To monitor and ensure the implementation of all hospital and department specific policies and procedures.

GNM/ BSc. Nursing,
