Workshop Manager

WORKSHOP MANAGER:

Workshop manager is responsible for the daily operations of a technical workshop, including managing staff, ensuring quality and safety standards, handling client relationships, and controlling budgets.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

· Technical Expertise: Strong background in a relevant technical or mechanical field. Strong knowledge of automotive system and repair procedure is required.

· Education: ITI Automobile /ITI Mechanical

· Experience: Proven experience in three - wheeler work shop management or a senior technician role.

· Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team.

· Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for interacting with staff, customers.

· Problem-solving: Ability to troubleshoot and find solutions to technical and operational challenges.

· Organizational skills: Strong planning and time management abilities.

Key responsibilities

· Operations and workflow:

o Manage day-to-day activities to ensure efficiency and productivity.

o Plan and schedule maintenance and repair work.

o Monitor the progress and quality of work, and implement improvements.

· Staff and team management:

o Lead, motivate, and develop a team of mechanics and technicians.

o Conduct performance reviews and provide training.

o Ensure the correct skills are matched to job tasks.

· Client and customer relations:

o Interact with clients to understand their needs and provide estimates.

o Build relationships with customers and manage their expectations.

· Resource and financial management:

o Manage budgets, control costs, and monitor revenue and expenses.

o Order and manage inventory of parts and supplies.

· Quality, safety, and compliance:

o Maintain strict quality control standards.

o Ensure all workshop activities and equipment complies with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

· Maintenance and equipment:

o Ensure all tools and equipment are in proper working order.
