Job Description: Site Engineer We are seeking a skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our team at Competent Electric System. As a Site Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of Railway projects. Your responsibilities will revolve around overseeing the day-to-day operations at the Railway site, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities: 1. Project Planning and Execution: - Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to understand project requirements, objectives, and timelines. - Participate in project planning, including developing work schedules, resource allocation, and material requirements. - Coordinate and supervise construction activities to ensure efficient execution of the project plan. 2. Quality Con corrective actions to maintain a safe working environment. - Monitor the quality of workmanship, materials, and construction processes to ensure compliance with industry standards. 3. Construction Oversight: - Oversee the construction process, keeping track of project progress and resolving any issues that may arise. - Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery of materials and services. - Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address construction challenges or deviations from plans. 4. Documentation and Reporting: - Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including site records, daily progress reports, and change orders. - Prepare reports on project status, highlighting achievements, challenges, and potential risks. - Update project managers and clients on the project's progress and any significant developments. 5. Cost Management: - Assist in cost estimation and budgeting for Railway projects. - Monitor project expenses and ensure cost-effective resource utilization. - Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality and safety. 6. Technical Support: - Provide technical support to the project team and resolve technical issues that may arise during construction. - Review construction drawings and specifications to ensure accurate implementation. Requirements: 1. Education and Experience: - Diploma in Electrical Engineer or similar field of work - Proven work experience as a Site Engineer or a similar role in construction projects for atleast 1 year 2. Technical Skills: - Familiarity with construction software and tools, such as AutoCAD and project management software. 3. Communication and Leadership: - Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members, contractors, and clients. - Strong leadership and decision-making abilities to manage construction teams and address on-site challenges. 4.
