Plant Incharge

We are looking for a highly skilled and responsible Plant Incharge to oversee and manage day-to-day operations of our fabrication and manufacturing unit. The role involves supervising production activities, ensuring quality and safety standards, managing resources, and leading teams to achieve operational efficiency and productivity.

Role & responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee fabrication and manufacturing operations for structures, tanks, tool room, and equipment.
• Ensure smooth functioning of the plant with focus on production schedules, quality, and delivery deadlines.
• Supervise and lead production teams, technicians, and operators.
• Monitor material usage, machine performance, and manpower allocation.
• Implement cost-effective manufacturing processes and reduce downtime.
• Coordinate with design, purchase, and quality teams to meet project requirements.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain plant equipment, ensure preventive maintenance, and minimize breakdowns.
• Prepare and review production reports, performance metrics, and suggest improvements.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for productivity, quality, and efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong knowledge of structural fabrication, tank manufacturing, and tool room operations.
• Hands-on experience in plant management, production planning, and process optimization.
• Knowledge of welding, machining, assembly, and fabrication processes.
• Ability to manage large teams with leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with ISO standards, quality control, and safety norms.
• Strong decision-making, organizational, and communication skills.
