Innovate Books is building a 
next-generation financial decision platform
. Our software has 
two layers
:

1. Solutions Layer (Inputs):
    SOP-driven modules for Commerce, Workforce, Operations, Capital, and Finance. All data is structured, compliance-ready, and linked to legal/financial documents.
2. Workspace Layer (Outputs):
    Decision-ready dashboards for Cashflow, Profitability, Budgeting, Forecasting, Financial Statements, and Reports, with collaborative workflows for approvals and document signing.

We aim to unify 
data capture, compliance, and decision-making
 in one platform, across industries.

Role Overview

We are looking for a 
Full-Stack Developer
 to 
design, develop, and maintain our SaaS platform
. You will work closely with the founder (handling product management, finance, and compliance) to build 
end-to-end workflows
, document generation, and Workspace integration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Solutions Layer Development:

• Build 
  input modules
   for Commerce (Customers & Vendors), Workforce (Payroll, Benefits, Reimbursements), Operations (Assets, Inventory, Projects), Capital (Banking, Cash, Treasury), and Finance (Accounting, Budgeting, Forecasting, Compliance, Masters).
• Implement 
  structured data capture
   ensuring all mandatory fields for legal and financial compliance (PAN, GST, CIN, payment terms, contract terms) are included.
• Integrate 
  workflow automation
   between steps (Lead → Opportunity → Estimate → Contract → Approval → PO → SO → Delivery → Invoice → Payment → Receivables).

2. Workspace Layer Development:

• Build dashboards for 
  Cashflow, Profitability, Variance Analysis, Budgeting & Forecasting, Financial Statements, and Reports
  .
• Implement 
  approval & signing workflows
   for contracts, ensuring seamless transition from Solutions layer to Workspace.
• Enable 
  real-time data mapping
   from inputs to Workspace modules.

3. Document Management & Legal Compliance:

• Implement 
  document generation
  : Estimate, Contract (draft, approval, client signature), Sales Order, Tax Invoice.
• Ensure 
  mandatory compliance fields
   are included in all documents.
• Attach signed contracts and link them to related workflow stages.

4. Full-Stack Development Responsibilities:

• Design and implement 
  responsive UI/UX
   for input forms, dashboards, and Workspace.
• Develop 
  backend APIs, database schemas, and business logic
   for end-to-end workflows.
• Implement 
  cloud deployment, CI/CD pipelines, and security best practices
  .
• Work on 
  data integrity, validation, and error handling
   to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Perform 
  unit testing, integration testing, and basic QA
  .

5. Collaboration & Documentation:

• Work closely with the founder for 
  process validation, SOP adherence, and compliance checks
  .
• Maintain 
  technical documentation
   for modules, APIs, and workflows.
• Support 
  QA testing and iterative enhancements
  .

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience in 
  Full-Stack Development
   (React, Angular, or Vue for frontend; , Django, or similar for backend).
• Database expertise: 
  PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
  .
• Experience with 
  REST APIs, GraphQL, or similar architectures
  .
• Knowledge of 
  document generation and PDF workflows
  .
• Cloud deployment experience: 
  AWS, GCP, or Azure
  .
• Familiarity with 
  workflow automation, approvals, and user roles
  .
• Understanding of 
  financial or accounting software workflows
   (preferred, not mandatory).

Soft Skills:

• Ability to work 
  independently in a lean team
  .
• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail.
• Good 
  communication
   to coordinate with founder and stakeholders.
• Willingness to 
  learn financial workflows, compliance, and SOP logic
  .

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with 
  SaaS platforms for finance, accounting, or ERP
  .
• Familiarity with 
  digital signatures, document approvals, and compliance workflows
  .
• Knowledge of 
  GST, PAN, CIN, and invoicing requirements
  .
