Role & responsibilities :

  • Conduct fabrication, machining, and assembly inspections as per approved drawings, customer specifications, and QAP requirements.
  • Verify dimensional accuracy, welding quality, and surface finish to ensure conformance to engineering and quality standards.
  • Review and implement QAPs / ITPs, identify hold and witness points, and coordinate with customer / third-party inspectors for approvals.
  • Coordinate effectively with Design, Production, Planning, and Purchase teams to ensure inspection readiness and timely resolution of quality issues.
  • Handle customer and third-party inspections, ensuring timely communication, documentation, and closure of inspection observations.
  • Ensure prompt closure of Non-Conformities (NCs) raised during in-house or customer inspections by initiating corrective and preventive actions.
  • Prepare and maintain inspection reports, material traceability records, and final quality dossiers for dispatch clearance.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives related to process and product quality.
