Job Description: Head of Operations Position Title: Head of Operations Department: Operations Location: Mumbai Purpose of this positionThisposition is responsible for managing all the back office operations andaccounting tasks and to ensure smooth functioning of operations and accounts relatingto the business at all levels. Key Duties & Responsibilities· Responsible for monitoringfund inflow and outflow.· Review the Investors accountopening forms as and when received.· Monitor oversees daily MIS day -to -dayback -office operations tasks including trade execution and to ensure smoothfunctioning of the process.· Co -ordination with thecustodians, fund accountants, depository, bank and brokers for day -to -dayoperational activities.· Co -ordination with the consultantsfor any operational activities (if any).· Assist with the Internal andStatutory auditors till the finalization of the audits and reporting for thePMS clients and the AIFs.· Ensure the day -to -day internaland regulatory compliance of the organization.· Responsible to prepare Monthly/ Half yearly / Yearly Compliance report as applicable.· Ensure to check stockreconciliations, bank reconciliations & corporate actions· Review day to day MIS.· Execute & reconcile feesworking of Investors as an when required.· Ensure to update timely traderestrictions & conflict of interest· Assist the investors' queriesin relation to their accounts and investments.· Any other operational mattersas assigned from time to time.· Responsible for accounts ofthe investment management (IM) entities· MIS for the IM entities withrespect to management fees and performance fees· Ensure all statutorycompliance for the IM entities including GST, TDS etc,· Handling tax matters (if any)for the IM entities with assistance of tax consultants· Responsible for the statutoryaudit of the IM entities and filing of tax returns of the IM entities· Preparing budgets for the IMentities and expenses monitoring RequirementsKey Skills Required· Ability to produce accuratefinancial reports· Ability to work to strict timeconstraints· Quick learner and self -starterand strong willingness to learn and embrace new things· Leadership quality for team management· Flexible and ability toprioritise tasks and manage multiple tasks within the compressed timelines.· Excellent Communication Skills· An organized and methodicalapproach to a task· Excellent working knowledge inMS Office Excel and Word. Educational QualificationCA / MBA (Finance) / Post -Graduate Experience Minimum 5 years of Experience
