About the Role

We're seeking an experienced
Android Developer
with strong expertise in
Kotlin, MVVM architecture
, and
live streaming / OTT / Android TV applications
. The role involves designing, building, and maintaining advanced Android apps with scalable architecture and rich video streaming experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain high-performance Android applications focused on
    OTT, live streaming, or Android TV
    platforms.
  • Architect Android apps using
    MVVM / MVVM Clean Architecture
    principles.
  • Ensure seamless video streaming performance and responsive UI for various devices.
  • Work with Jetpack libraries, Compose toolkit, and Android architecture components.
  • Optimize app performance across different Android versions, resolutions, and device types.
  • Implement and manage
    dependency injection
    (Dagger2 or Hilt).
  • Integrate APIs and SDKs for playback, analytics, and ad management.
  • Write and maintain unit tests; debug distributed systems efficiently.
  • Collaborate with designers, backend, and QA teams for end-to-end product delivery.
  • Use version control (Git) and agile tools (Jira) effectively.

Must-Have Skills

  • 6+ years total experience, 4+ years in
    Android app development
    .
  • Mandatory:
    Experience in
    OTT, Android TV, or live video streaming
    applications.
  • Proficiency in
    Kotlin
    , Android SDK, and OOP concepts.
  • Expertise in
    MVVM / MVVM Clean Architecture
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    Android UI design principles
    and performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with
    Jetpack components

  • Experience with
    unit testing

    Git-based workflows
    .
  • Knowledge of
