About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Freelance Translator to support our translation needs on a project-by-project basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately translating written content from English to Malayalam while maintaining the context, tone, and intended meaning of the original text.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate written documents, articles, reports, marketing materials, or other content from English to Malayalam .
  • Ensure translations are accurate, consistent, and culturally appropriate.
  • Proofread and edit translated materials to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to clarify terminology, context, and expectations.
  • Meet project deadlines and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all documents and information shared.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a professional translator or bilingual writer.
  • Native or near-native proficiency in Malayalam with strong command of English.
  • Excellent writing, grammar, and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with translation tools (CAT tools, glossaries, etc.) is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain tone and messaging.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver projects on time.

Job Type: Freelance

Contract length: 12 months

Pay: ₹12, ₹18,000.00 per month
