Job Title: Oracle Fusion ETL Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion ETL Specialist to design, develop, and manage data extraction pipelines from our Oracle Fusion Cloud environment.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate flow of data from our core business applications (ERP, HCM) to our enterprise data warehouse to support critical reporting, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and maintain robust data extraction jobs using the Oracle BI Cloud Connector (BICC) console.
  • Analyze business requirements to identify the appropriate Public View Objects (PVOs) needed for data extraction from Oracle Fusion Cloud modules (Financials, Procurement, HCM, etc.).
  • Manage and monitor scheduled BICC jobs, including both full and incremental data loads. Troubleshoot and resolve any extraction failures, data discrepancies, or performance issues.
  • Configure and manage connections to target cloud storage, primarily OCI Object Storage. Collaborate with the data warehouse and BI teams to facilitate the loading and transformation of extracted data into downstream systems like Oracle Autonomous Data Warehouse (ADW) or Snowflake.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all data extraction processes, including data lineage and mappings.
  • Perform data validation and quality checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the extracted data.Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle Business Intelligence Cloud Connector (BICC) is mandatory.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP/HCM/SCM) applications and their underlying data models.
  • Proficiency in SQL for data analysis, validation, and troubleshooting.
  • Solid knowledge of ETL/ELT principles and data warehousing concepts (star schema, dimensional modeling).
  • Experience working with cloud object storage platforms (e.g., OCI Object Storage, AWS S3, Azure Blob).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with BI visualization tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud (OAC), Power BI, or Tableau.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data warehousing platforms like Oracle ADW, Snowflake, or Google Big Query.
  • Familiarity with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for orchestrating data workflows.
  • Scripting skills in languages like Python or Shell for automation tasks.
  • Relevant Oracle Cloud certifications (e.g., OCI Foundations, Oracle Cloud Platform Application Integration).
