Overview:

Our client is looking for a Senior iOS Engineer to help build and scale native iOS apps in a fast-moving, Agile mobile team. Youll own features end-to-endfrom ideation and architecture to App Store release—while partnering closely with design, product, and backend teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship production-ready iOS features with high performance and great UX.
• Build dynamic interfaces using SwiftUI and/or Storyboards; ensure accessibility and responsiveness.
• Apply robust architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, MVVM-C) for clean, testable, maintainable code.
• Optimize rendering pipelines and performance; implement GPU-accelerated image processing (Metal/MetalKit, Core Image, OpenGL).
• Work with video frameworks (AVFoundation, AVKit, Core Media, VideoToolbox) for recording, playback, and editing.
• Integrate analytics, push, and remote config; manage releases to the Apple App Store.
• Collaborate effectively with designers, PMs, and backend engineers; participate in code reviews and CI/CD.

Must-Haves

• 3–7+ years building and shipping iOS applications in production.
• Strong proficiency with Swift; experience with SwiftUI and/or Storyboards.
• Deep understanding of iOS architecture best practices (MVC, MVVM, MVVM-C).
• Proven experience with rendering/performance optimization and GPU-accelerated image editing (Metal/MetalKit, Core Image, OpenGL).
• Hands-on with video frameworks (AVFoundation, AVKit, Core Media, or VideoToolbox).
• Comfortable with Firebase, Google Analytics, and App Store release workflows.
• Proficient with Git and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent cross-functional communication.

Tooling

• Git (Bitbucket), Bitrise CI/CD, Firebase, Jira/Trello, Slack.

Nice-to-Haves

• Familiarity with Core ML / Vision (AI filters, detection, segmentation).
• Experience with Camera/AR camera frameworks.
• Objective-C experience.
• Background in low-level memory management and Instruments profiling (Leaks, Time Profiler, GPU Frame Debugger).
• Experience implementing high-converting paywalls and running A/B tests.
