About the Company

  • Prep'dIn is a Chennai-based meal-kit business. Our aim is to get more people comfortable with the idea of cooking while ensuring quality and variety in nutritious meals.

Role Overview

  • We seek a dynamic and proactive candidate to play a pivotal role in building and scaling our operations. Working closely with the founder, the candidate will contribute to strategic planning, vendor negotiations, distribution planning, and the overall business setup. This highly versatile, hands-on role demands a strong blend of analytical thinking, articulate communication, creative problem-solving, and operational execution.

Location

  • This is an in-person role based in Nandanam, Chennai.

Salary

  • 25k per month

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with the founder to craft and refine the go-to-market strategy.
  • Conduct market research to identify opportunities, trends, and competitive insights.
  • Assist in setting up sales targets and developing actionable plans to meet them

Vendor and Supplier Management

  • Identify, evaluate, and establish partnerships with suppliers and vendors.
  • Lead negotiations to secure favourable terms while ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Manage and monitor vendor relationships to optimise performance.

Operational Execution

  • Assist in setting up workflows and processes for seamless operations.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities to meet business objectives.
  • Track and analyse key operational metrics to drive continuous improvement.

Distribution and Logistics Planning

  • Contribute to developing efficient delivery and distribution strategies.
  • Liaise with logistics partners to streamline last-mile delivery operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or a related field.
  • We're more than happy to work with fresh graduates, provided you're bringing the right skills and attitude to the table

Key Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace; must be adept at adopting new technology
  • Passion towards the consumer industry and food business is highly desirable.
