Our dynamic team seeks a Senior Media Relations Specialist with at least 7 years of experience in media relations or PR, with a significant network among Category A journalists and media outlets. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in securing high-profile media placements, including quotes, profiling, and authored articles, especially within the Startup Industry, BFSI, and legal sectors. This role demands someone with exceptional communication skills, a strategic mindset, and a proven track record of elevating brand presence in print and digital media.

Essential Responsibilities:

Design and execute innovative media relations strategies that significantly increase brand visibility and media presence.

Utilize existing relationships with top-tier journalists and influencers to secure impactful media coverage consistently.

Generate substantial media opportunities on a monthly basis, setting and exceeding high-performance benchmarks.

Strategically navigate the media landscape, securing opportunities that align with our brand's mission and goals, particularly in the Startup, BFSI, and legal sectors.

Evaluate the effectiveness of media strategies, adjusting approaches based on analytics and industry trends to maximize results.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in media relations or public relations, with a strong emphasis on media placements within targeted industries.

Extensive network of contacts among Category A journalists and media outlets, with a portfolio of high-profile placements.

Demonstrated ability to think strategically and creatively, with a track record of developing and implementing successful media relations campaigns.

Superior writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling stories and presentations.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
