RECRUITMENT SPECIALIST

Working Hours Canadian time Zone i.e. 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM EST

Roles and Responsibilities:

Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates

- Utilize various recruitment methods such as job boards, social media, and networking events

- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidate qualifications

- Coordinate and schedule interviews with hiring managers

- Conduct reference checks and background screenings for potential hires

- Collaborate with hiring managers to create job descriptions and specifications

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS)

- Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process

- Stay current on industry trends and best practices in recruitment

Qualifications:

- bachelor degree in human resources or related field preferred

-Preferred 5 years experience in Canadian retail sector.

- Proven experience as a Recruiting Specialist or similar role

- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as Kronos or Workday

- Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies and techniques

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to research and identify potential candidates through various channels

- Experience in training development and employee relations is a plus

- Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM software is a plus

- Strong negotiation skills to secure top talent for the organization
