Description

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within Corporate Technology, you will be required to apply deep knowledge and expertise to all aspects of the software development lifecycle, share your knowledge with others, and partner continuously with stakeholders to stay focused on common goals. You will work in a collaborative, trusting, thought-provoking environment—one that encourages diversity of thought and creative solutions that are in the best interests of our customers globally. 

Job responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, and maintains scalable and efficient software applications and systems for AI projects. 
  • Collaborates with various teams and other engineers to understand requirements and deliver solutions. 
  • Implements and optimizes algorithms and models for AI applications. 
  • Writes clean, maintainable, and well-documented code. 
  • Participates in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers. 
  • Troubleshoots and resolves software defects and issues. 
  • Stays up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and software development technologies. 
  • Contributes to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices. 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
  • Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with one or more languages( Java, Golang)  
  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries (e.g., LangGraph, GoogleADK, MCP). 
  • Familiarity with AWS and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). 
  • Solid understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills. 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience with natural language processing, GenAI and Agentic workflows. 
  • Experience with distributed systems and microservices architecture. 
  • Experience with Infra as code (Terraform)
