Role & Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute MEP works aligned with project objectives and timelines.
  • Review and coordinate all HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Firefighting, and ELV systems.
  • Supervise contractors/subcontractors on-site, ensuring adherence to design, quality, and safety standards.
  • Manage design consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure cost-effective, code-compliant solutions.
  • Support the Construction Manager in resource planning, productivity analysis, and cost monitoring.
  • Review shop drawings, material submittals, method statements, and ensure timely approvals.
  • Coordinate with the Planning team for schedule updates and develop recovery plans in case of delays.
  • Review and certify contractor bills, variation claims, and coordinate with Procurement for necessary actions.
  • Ensure value engineering, accurate BOQ/estimation, and analysis of CAPEX vs OPEX costs.
  • Conduct safety checks, enforce quality control procedures, and raise NCRs for deviations.
  • Liaise with statutory authorities for approvals and utility connections.
  • Oversee testing, commissioning, and final handover documentation, including training of facility teams.
  • Facilitate smooth transition to Facilities Management and ensure operational readiness.
  • Maintain documentation to support contractual and project management requirements.

Key Skills & Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of NBC, IS codes, NFPA, ECBC, LEED/IGBC standards and statutory compliance.
  • Strong understanding of installation, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and project scheduling tools.
  • Experience in facility handover, maintenance planning, and green building initiatives.
  • Skilled in value engineering, estimation, and lifecycle costing.
  • Excellent coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Awareness of latest construction methodologies and system technologies.
