We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Product Owner.
In this role, you will:
Product vision & roadmap define and communicate the vision and strategy for data products.Develop and maintain the product roadmap aligned with business priorities.Act as the primary point of contact between business users, data teams, and technology.Gather, document, and prioritize requirements from multiple stakeholders.Data Product Development & Stakeholder ManagementCollaborate with engineering and analytics teams to design, build, and launch new data products or enhancements oversee data acquisition, integration, and distribution initiatives.Drive the implementation of metadata, lineage, and governance practices.Performance & Value, Governance & Compliance and Agile DeliveryContinuously improve the data products based on user feedback and performance metrics.Work closely with Scrum Masters, developers, and business analysts to ensure timely delivery of features.To be successful you will:
Education: Bachelor's/ Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Management, or related field.Experience: 3–6+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Manager in a data-centric environment.Experience with data platforms, data pipelines, or analytics tools.Strong understanding of data management, data integrationExcellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.Proficiency with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, ConfluenceYou'll achieve more at HSBC
