Position – Video Editor Intern

Responsibilities:

  1. Edit short-form videos, primarily Instagram reels, for brand collaborations and athlete social media pages.
  2. Follow scripts/storyboards closely while adding a creative touch to make the content engaging and aligned with brand needs.
  3. Understand brand guidelines and ensure all edits are in sync with the brand's voice and messaging.
  4. Collaborate with the content and marketing team to brainstorm new ideas and improve existing content formats.
  5. Maintain consistency in editing style and output quality across multiple projects.
  6. Add transitions, effects, captions, and music to enhance overall video quality.
  7. Work on quick turnarounds for time-sensitive brand campaigns.
  8. Keep track of the latest editing trends, social media formats, and platform-specific requirements.
  9. Organize and manage raw footage, ensuring proper file storage and version control.
  10. Support in creating highlight reels, montages, and promotional edits for athletes and brand partners.
  11. Deliver videos in required formats and resolutions suitable for multiple platforms.
  12. Perform other related tasks as assigned by the creative manager.

Qualifications:

  1. Basic knowledge of video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro/Final Cut Pro/CapCut or similar).
  2. Strong understanding of social media trends, especially Instagram reels.
  3. Ability to follow detailed instructions while contributing creative input.
  4. Strong sense of timing, visual awareness, and attention to detail.
  5. Positive attitude with willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Basic knowledge of what brands expect from influencer/athlete collaborations.
  7. Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple edits simultaneously.
  8. Freshers and beginners are welcome, provided they have basic editing knowledge.
  9. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  10. Ability to work under deadlines and handle constructive feedback positively.
