Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Tool Room Engineer, based in Chennai. The Tool Room Engineer will be responsible for designing and maintaining tooling systems, troubleshooting tooling issues, and ensuring high-quality standards for equipment. Additional tasks include collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance manufacturing processes and executing programming and design solutions where required.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Tooling Design and expertise in creating efficient tooling systems
  • Experience in Programming and Software Development to implement technical solutions effectively
  • Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical or mechanical issues
  • Capability in advanced problem-solving and technical design insights
  • Experience with precision tools and familiarity with relevant equipment
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Tool, or Production Engineering or relevant field
  • Prior experience in automotive, consumer durables, or industrial manufacturing is advantageous
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
