We are looking for an Android Developer passionate about building reliable, high-performance, and scalable mobile applications. You'll work on real-time tracking, analytics visualization, and device integration with backend cloud systems (AWS).

The role involves close collaboration with the backend, QA, and product teams to deliver seamless telematics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop Android applications for GPS tracking and telematics systems using Kotlin / Java.
  • Integrate APIs for real-time location, alerts, and analytics data.
  • Implement clean, maintainable, and scalable architecture (MVVM / MVP).
  • Work with Google Maps SDK, location services, and background service handling for continuous tracking.
  • Optimize performance for large datasets and battery-efficient background operations.
  • Collaborate with backend developers to define REST APIs and handle JSON-based data communication.
  • Implement push notifications, in-app updates, and offline caching.
  • Work closely with QA and testing teams to debug, validate, and optimize app performance.
  • Maintain version control using Git and participate in code reviews.
  • Stay updated with the latest Android SDKs, libraries, and Google Play policies.

  • Database: Room, SQLite, Realm

  • Tools: Android Studio, Firebase, Git
  • API Integration: REST APIs, JSON, Postman testing
  • Bonus: Familiarity with BLE, MQTT, or IoT/Telematics devices
