Position Overview
 

We are looking for an enthusiastic entry-level engineer to join our Observability Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have foundational programming skills in Python and a keen interest in automation. This role will focus on building and maintaining observability solutions across Splunk, OpenTelemetry (OTel), Dynatrace, and Catchpoint.
 

Responsibilities

  • Automate repetitive operational tasks using Python and scripting.

  • Innovate to solve complex problems with generative AI driven solutions

  • Support the configuration and troubleshooting of monitoring platforms (Splunk, Dynatrace, Catchpoint).

  • Assist in instrumenting services with OpenTelemetry for metrics, logs, and traces.

  • Collaborate with team members to improve monitoring coverage and reliability.

Minimum Qualifications
 

  • Proficiency in Python with basic exposure to automation.

  • Understanding of monitoring and logging concepts.

  • Strong problem-solving mindset and eagerness to learn observability tools.

  • Quick learner and good analytical skills

Preferred Qualifications
 

  • Familiarity with Splunk queries, OTel collectors, or APM tools.Exposure to git based development  and ci/cd workflows and scripting beyond Python. (edited)
