Job Summary

About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manual Tester with 2–4 years of experience to join our QA team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring product quality through thorough testing, identifying bugs, and collaborating with development teams to deliver a seamless end-user experience. Candidate should be from a service based organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and analyze system specifications and requirements.
  • Execute test cases (manual) and analyze results.
  • Identify, record, and track software defects using appropriate tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
  • Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts to ensure quality and timely delivery.
  • Perform regression, functional, usability, and performance testing.
  • Prepare detailed test reports and maintain documentation.
  • Verify fixes and conduct retesting after bug resolutions.
  • Ensure the product meets business and technical requirements before release.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in manual testing.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, and defect life cycle.
  • Experience with bug tracking and test management tools.
  • Knowledge of database testing (basic SQL queries).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have:

  • Experience in API testing or automation tools (e.g., Postman, Selenium).
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
