Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Daily Accounting (~20% time)

  2. Day to day accounting work i.e. vouching, filing and maintenance of books of accounts.

  3. Responsible for client billing and telephone follow up for collections.
  4. Visits to the banks and regulatory agencies when required.

  5. Responsible for purchase activities and vendor relationships.

  6. ROC and Taxation (~40% time)

  7. Handle taxation and related statutory compliance work such as Income Tax, GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Labour Welfare Board etc. and ensure return filings and payment are done in timely manner.

  8. Prepare and finalization of balance sheets, profit & loss and cash flow statements.

  9. Responsible for interaction with all government statutory authorities, external auditors and tax consultants.

  10. MIS Reporting & Process (~40% time)

  11. Ensure that the TDS, GST, Income tax return filings and payment are done in timely manner.

  12. Assist in the administration of the investment portfolio of the company and be responsible for treasury functions.
  13. Ensure that periodic MIS reports are prepared & submitted in timely manner.
  14. Ensure that all departmental processes are documented, updated and relevant.
  15. Ensure that legal cases of the company having financial implications are tracked and followed up with legal counsel for status update.

Desired Profile/Skills:

  • Your age should be between 26 and 35 years.
  • You should have at least 3+ years of practical accounting experience (preferably in a service industry.)
  • You must have at least 70% marks in both class X and XII.
  • You should be atleast completed CA-Inter and articleship with a CA firm.
  • You should ideally have working knowledge of Income Tax, GST, TDS and Provident Fund.
  • You should be proficient in working with MS Excel, MS Word and Tally prime.
  • You must live within a 90 minute commuting distance from Nehru Place.

Our working hours are from 9:30am to 6:00pm, Monday to Saturday. This is a Delhi based position. Please do not apply for this job unless you currently live in Delhi/NCR.

Note: We do not give more than 15 days study leave every 6 months under any circumstance. Study leaves are only given to those people who tell us at the time of interview that they either are pursuing their CA exams or there is a chance that they could decide to pursue their CA exams in the future.
