Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and research-driven Assistant Professor in Computer Science with expertise in emerging and disruptive technologies. The ideal candidate will combine strong academic credentials with a passion for teaching and a track record (or strong potential) in impactful research and industry collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science, focusing on cutting-edge areas such as:
  • Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning
  • Data Science & Big Data Analytics
  • Cloud Computing & DevOps
  • Blockchain & Web3 Technologies
  • Cybersecurity & Ethical Hacking
  • Internet of Things (IoT) and Edge Computing
  • Mentor students on academic, research, and career development initiatives.
  • Conduct high-quality research leading to publications in reputed journals and conferences.
  • Secure research funding through grants, industry partnerships, or government schemes.
  • Develop and update curriculum to reflect latest industry trends and technological advancements.
  • Collaborate with industry to facilitate internships, live projects, and guest lectures.
  • Participate actively in departmental activities, committees, and accreditation processes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Ph.D. in Computer Science or a closely related field from a recognized university.
  • Exceptional candidates with an M.Tech and strong industry/research experience may also be considered.
  • Strong academic record with publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals/conferences.
  • Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the listed emerging technology domains.
  • Prior teaching experience at university level preferred; fresh Ph.D. graduates with strong research credentials are encouraged to apply.
  • Industry experience in relevant technology domains will be an added advantage.
