Key Responsibilities:

  • Experience in the design and development of battery-powered systems for mobile platforms
  • Ability to evaluate various thermal management solutions and model alongside a thermal engineering team
  • Cross-collaboration with mechanical engineering to design, prototype packages
  • Experience with end-to-end development of one or more DC-DC converters, onboard chargers, inverters, and BMS interfaces
  • Simulation, modeling, and analysis of power electronic circuits using PLECS, MATLAB/SIMULINK, and LTSpice
  • Guide PCB layout for high power designs, ensuring EMI/EMC compliance and thermal management.
  • Drive validation and testing of prototypes in lab and platform environments
  • Evaluate and select components such as IGBTs, SiC/GaNs, gate drivers, and magnetics
  • Manage requirements, system integration, test strategy, and issue resolution

Qualifications and Skills:

  • 3+ years of experience in designing power electronics, high power systems, or battery management systems
  • Knowledgeable with different circuit design and analysis tools such as KiCAD, Altium, Ansys Thermal, MATLAB, PLECS, and LTSpice
  • Comfortable with one or more programming languages such as Python, C++, embedded C, MATLAB, etc.
  • Good understanding of designing, manufacturing ecosystem of electrical systems in India.
  • Excellent communication, proactive mindset, engagement, ability to work individually, and inspire fellow team members.
  • Good understanding and ability to solve multi-disciplinary engineering problems analytically
