Job Description: Shift Officer – Production
Department: Production
Location: Kathua, Jammu & Kashmir (Food Products Plant)
Reporting to: Production Manager
Shift: Rotational (A/B/C)
Experience: 5–10 years
Key Responsibilities
Shift Operations Management
Daily production plan ko implement karna aur shift targets achieve karna.
RM & Extraction, Filtration-1, Filtration-2, Spray Drying & Packaging operations ka monitoring.
Process parameters ko control karna — temperature, pressure, flow rates, etc.
Manpower ko allocate karna, guide karna aur shift discipline maintain karna.
Process Monitoring & Control
Batch records, log sheets & online data maintain karna.
Critical control points (CCP) ka strict compliance ensure karna.
Quality deviation, process variation, abnormal equipment condition spot karna aur report karna.
Quality Assurance Coordination
QC team ke sath in-process sampling coordination.
Rejection control, process correction & product quality maintain karna.
GMP, Food Safety & Hygiene standards ka implementation.
Safety Management
Shift ke sabhi employees ka PPE ensure karna.
Safety SOPs & LOTO procedures follow karwana.
Unsafe conditions ka escalation & incident reporting.
Documentation & Reporting
Daily shift report (production, downtime, manpower) prepare karna.
SAP/ERP entries (agar applicable).
BMR, BRR & checklists maintain karna.
Coordination With Other Departments
Maintenance team ko breakdown / abnormality report karna.
Utility team (Boiler, Chiller, compressor) se coordination.
Stores se RM/PM withdrawal manage karna.
Qualification
B.Tech (Chemical / Food Technology) or B.Sc / M.Sc (Food / Chemistry).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25, ₹70,000.00 per month
