Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Washerman, based in Kolkata. The Washerman will be responsible for sorting, washing, and handling laundry items while ensuring proper care of fabrics. This includes operating washing machines, treating stains, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in the workplace. The role also requires attention to detail to meet quality standards and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Cooperation with teammates and adherence to company protocols will be an integral part of daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Experience in sorting, washing, and handling various fabric types.
• Ability to operate and maintain laundry machines and equipment efficiently.
• Knowledge of stain treatment and the appropriate use of cleaning agents.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality assurance in laundry services.
• Basic communication skills for teamwork and customer interaction.
• Physical stamina to handle frequent standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks.
• Prior experience in a similar role or in the laundry/dry cleaning industry is a plus.
