Talent Development Director – India
As a Talent Development Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading and directing a high-performing team of talent development professionals within RSM. This pivotal role will be responsible for leading and overseeing the talent development initiatives for our India teams across all our external and internal client services teams. The director will be responsible for developing comprehensive talent development strategies, designing programs for leadership development, and ensuring alignment with global practices. Collaboration with stakeholders and data-driven decision-making are also crucial aspects of the role
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in talent development, leadership development, and organizational effectiveness, with a proven track record of driving impactful talent development strategies for global teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement comprehensive talent development strategies that align with the company's business objectives and growth plans. Provide strategic direction and leadership to the talent development team.
- Program Design and Implementation: Design, develop, and oversee the implementation of talent development programs, including leadership development, technical and advisory development, and skills to drive performance.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with senior leadership, HR partners, and business unit leaders to identify talent development needs and create tailored development solutions.
- Global Coordination: Ensure alignment of talent development initiatives with global standards and practices. Facilitate cross-regional collaboration and knowledge sharing to drive consistency and excellence in talent development for global teams.
- Partnership with US Teams: Work closely with US-based teams to develop and deploy talent development strategies. Ensure seamless integration and alignment of initiatives across regions.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data and analytics to assess the effectiveness of talent development programs and make informed decisions. Continuously monitor and evaluate program outcomes to drive continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing talent development team. Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the team.
Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Psychology or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in talent development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Experience in a professional services firm or a global organization is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Global Perspective: Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment. Understanding of regional talent development trends and practices in India and global teams.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in talent management, leadership development, or related areas are a plus.
- Demonstrated experience with planning & prioritization, risk identification & management and time & productivity management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven analytical, evaluative and problem-solving abilities
