The Cashier is responsible for handling all customer payments, maintaining accurate billing records, and ensuring smooth financial transactions in the service department. The role requires accuracy, honesty, and good communication skills to maintain customer satisfaction and support workshop operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive customer payments for service, spare parts, and accessories.
- Prepare and issue invoices, receipts, and service bills accurately.
- Maintain daily cash collections and ensure timely deposit to the accounts department.
- Handle card, UPI, and other digital payment transactions securely.
- Maintain and update daily cash reports and transaction logs.
- Reconcile cash balance with service invoices at the end of each day.
- Support the Service Advisor and Workshop team in billing-related clarifications.
- Handle refund or adjustment requests as per company policy.
- Ensure all financial records and bills are filed systematically for audit purposes.
- Provide courteous and professional service to all customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum Qualification: Any Degree in Commerce or related field.
- 1–3 years of experience as a Cashier,
- Basic accounting knowledge and computer literacy (DMS, Excel, billing software).
- Good communication and customer handling skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to handle money responsibly.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher
Pay: ₹12, ₹15,000.00 per month
