Role Description

Our firm, based in Fort, Mumbai, invites applications for the position of Junior Legal Associate to join our litigation and non-litigation team.

We primarily represent banks and financial institutions in matters relating to debt recovery, including:

Proceedings before the Debt Recovery Tribunal (DRT) and DRAT

Matters under the SARFAESI Act, including Section 14 applications before District Magistrates / Chief Metropolitan Magistrates

Commercial Suits and Summary Suits before the Bombay City Civil Court and Dindoshi Court

IBC proceedings before the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT)

The position offers comprehensive exposure to banking and commercial litigation, covering aspects such as drafting, legal research, procedural compliance, and regular court appearances.

Qualifications

LL.B. graduate (freshers or up to 3 years of relevant experience)

Genuine interest in litigation, banking, and commercial laws

Strong analytical, drafting, and communication skills

This role provides an excellent opportunity to develop in-depth knowledge of financial and recovery laws and gain hands-on experience in diverse areas of banking and commercial law practice.
