Duvanta is revolutionizing the mortgage distribution infrastructure in India. Over 70% of mortgage loans are facilitated through a fragmented network of DSAs (Direct Selling Agents) who currently rely on manual, inefficient process lacking any sort of technology based tools. Duvanta's AI-powered assistant simplifies the mortgage loan process with smart document collection, instant eligibility checks, and real-time application tracking. Starting with secured loans, Duvanta's long-term goal is to become India's largest tech-driven financial distributor, empowering embedded credit and insurance journeys through intelligent automation.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in Gurugram. As the Vice President of Engineering, you will oversee the engineering team's activities and ensure the development of high-quality tech product. Your day-to-day tasks will include managing engineering projects, building and leading a team of engineers, and collaborating with product and development teams to drive innovation and deliver effective solutions. This is a 0-to-1 role where you will be building the technology and the team scratch. A large part of development revolves around building SLMs and using LLMs for analysis and communication of data and information. FinTech experience will eb a strong positive. Experience in building the engineering org from scratch will be a huge positive. This is a founding team member role and ownership and delivery of the technology solution will be a big part of the role.

Qualifications

  • Engineering Management and Team Leadership skills
  • Experience in Software Development and Product Development
  • Project Management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Experience in the financial technology sector is a plus
  • 6-10 years of experience in software development
  • Experience in building a sales enablement software along with experience in CRM technologies will be beneficial.
