Job Title: MSME Liaison & Research Consultant

About the Role:

We are looking for a MSME Liaison & Research Consultant with substantial experience and maturity to represent our organization across various states and MSME associations, liaise with government officials, and carry out on-ground research and documentation activities. This role demands frequent travel, a strong professional presence, and the ability to navigate official channels effectively to get the required data, documents, and endorsements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • State Visits: Travel across different states to meet MSME associations, industrial bodies, and government departments.
  • Government Liaisoning: Personally meet and follow up with senior government officials and department heads to obtain required permissions, documents, or letters.
  • Association Coordination: Engage with local and regional MSME associations to collect necessary information, endorsements, or letters of support.
  • Research & Groundwork: Conduct on-ground research on industries, associations, policies, or schemes relevant to MSMEs and government collaboration.
  • Documentation & Reporting: Prepare official correspondence, collect physical/digital documents, and maintain detailed records of visits, interactions, and outcomes.

Candidate Profile:

  • 7+ years of experience in government liaisoning, field operations, institutional coordination, or policy research.
  • Comfortable with extensive state-wise travel and independently handling external meetings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills able to represent the organization professionally with high-level officials.
  • Proven experience in documentation, official follow-ups, and gathering field-level data or paperwork.
  • Detail-oriented, persistent, and well-organized in managing deadlines and multi-location assignments.

Preferred Background:

  • Prior experience in dealing with MSME departments, government offices, or industry chambers.
  • Education in Public Administration, Business, Law, Political Science, or related fields.
  • Familiarity with government processes, industry functioning, and formal communications.
