Job Title: Site Engineer – Road Construction

Location: Vadodara, Gujarat

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Site Engineer to oversee one or more ongoing road construction projects in and around Vadodara.

The role requires strong technical expertise, on-site leadership, and the ability to coordinate multiple resources to ensure timely and high-quality project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and supervise day-to-day site operations for one or more road construction sites.
  • Plan, coordinate, and monitor widening, strengthening, and resurfacing works, including:
  • Earthwork
  • Base and sub-base preparation (GSB/WMM)
  • Bitumen laying and compaction (BM, DBM, BC, SDBC, etc.)
  • Oversee drainage and utility works, including:
  • Storm water drainage installation
  • Manhole shifting and realignment
  • Supervise miscellaneous concrete works, including small structures, drains, and kerbs.
  • Ensure proper utilization and management of labor, materials, and machinery for smooth site operations.
  • Maintain daily progress reports, quantity tracking, and ensure adherence to technical specifications and safety standards.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager, Sectional Officers (SO) and Quality Control team to resolve on-site issues.
  • Implement cost and time control measures to achieve project milestones efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and safety norms.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: Minimum 3–7 years of experience in road construction projects, including bitumen and drainage works.
  • Strong understanding of road construction processes, materials, and machinery.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to manage multiple activities simultaneously.
  • Ability to lead and manage on-site teams effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and basic project documentation preferred.
