Location: Remote

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic and hands-on HR Business Partner (HRBP) who can work closely with both tech and non-tech teams to drive people strategy, culture, and engagement. The ideal candidate will come from a startup background, have experience working with a remote/distributed workforce, and be comfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic HR Partnership

  • Partner with tech and non-tech team leaders to understand business goals and align HR strategies accordingly.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on employee engagement, workforce planning, and organizational development.
  • Support leadership in building high-performing, motivated, and collaborative teams.

Talent Management & Development

  • Own end-to-end employee lifecycle management including onboarding, performance reviews, promotions, and exits.
  • Design and drive initiatives around employee development, L&D programs, and skill-building.
  • Identify high-potential employees and work with leaders on career progression and succession planning.

Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Drive employee engagement activities to strengthen collaboration across remote teams.
  • Champion initiatives that reinforce company values, policies.
  • Address employee concerns proactively, ensuring a positive employee experience.

Performance & People Operations

  • Manage performance management processes (goal-setting, feedback, and appraisals).
  • Partner with managers to resolve employee relations issues with empathy and fairness.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, and procedures.

HR Projects & Analytics

  • Work on HR initiatives like policy formulation, compensation benchmarking, and employee wellbeing.
  • Provide HR analytics and insights to leadership for informed decision-making.
  • Continuously improve HR processes with a startup mindset of agility and innovation.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as an HRBP or in a similar HR generalist role.
  • Proven track record of working with both tech and non-tech teams.
  • Experience handling a remote/distributed workforce.
  • Strong exposure to startup environments with fast-paced scaling teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Immediate joiner only.
