Job Description on – Head of Accounts & Finance

Position Title: GM / DGM – Finance (depending on experience)

Location: Navi Mumbai (open for relocation)

Reporting To: General Manager- India (Administration) and to the regional financial controller in the head office

overseas (Functional)

Experience: 12–15 years

Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA)

Compensation: (based on current CTC and experience)

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced finance leader to head our Accounts & Finance function.

The role requires strong financial acumen, strategic thinking, and proven experience in managing complex financial

operations in a fast-paced environment. The incumbent will be responsible for the finalization of accounts, statutory

compliance, cost management, financial planning, audit support, and team development.

Key Responsibili es

A. Finalizes on of the Accounts & Compliance

  • Oversee finalization of accounts and provide audit support.
  • Ensure timely statutory compliance across all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Supervise day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
  • Manage Receivables vs. Payables, including collections and timely payments.
  • Ensure robust revenue assurance practices.

B. Cost & Financial Management

  • Conduct cost-benefit analysis, project margin analysis, CMA, and monthly MIS reporting.
  • Develop and maintain financial dashboards for decision-making.
  • Provide cross-functional financial support to Sales, Projects, SCM, and other departments.
  • Evaluate the financial feasibility of new projects.

C. Statutory & Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure legal and statutory compliance at all times for the Finance domain.
  • Manage statutory payments and filings.
  • Oversee compliance requirements for bankers and investors.

D. Payments, Receipts & Cash Flow

  • Ensure timely vendor/supplier payments.
  • Monitor and report idle fund u liza on.
  • Coordinate with the Sales team on collection planning.
  • Collaborate with Project & SCM teams on execution plans.
  • Prepare and monitor detailed cash flow plans.

E. Budge ng & Forecas ng

  • Collaborate with the Managing Director in compiling the budget, annual forecast, and mid-term plan.

F. Process Excellence & Team Development

  • Strengthen processes by implementing guidelines and checklists.
  • Focus on skill development of team members for independent execution.
  • Drive self-development and knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Encourage cross-functional learning to reduce dependencies.
  • Motivate and mentor team members for both personal and professional growth.
  • Create a culture of ownership, responsibility, and collaboration.

  • Experience with SAP B1 or similar ERP is highly desirable

  • Preferably with a track record of working for an international company
