We are hiring an experienced QA Automation Engineer with expertise in automation frameworks, Python programming, API testing, and cloud-based environments to support our agile development teams in Bangalore.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust automation test scripts using Robot Framework and REST Assured (or equivalent API automation tools).
  • Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and define test strategies within Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Conduct API testing using Postman and validate backend data through Oracle SQL queries.
  • Integrate automated test cases into CI/CD pipelines for scalable test execution in Microsoft Azure environments.
  • Track, report, and resolve defects using JIRA.
  • Ensure high-quality releases by contributing to test planning, risk assessments, and quality reviews.
  • Maintain test documentation, automation frameworks, and reusable scripts for efficiency and scalability.
  • Drive continuous improvement by identifying gaps and recommending enhancements in testing processes and frameworks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor//'s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 4 to 7 years of experience in software testing and QA automation.

Strong hands-on expertise in:

  • Automation Testing (functional & regression).
  • Robot Framework.
  • API Testing with REST Assured (or similar).
  • Python programming.
  • SQL/Oracle database validation.
  • Practical knowledge of SDLC/Agile methodologies (Scrum preferred).
  • Experience with Postman, JIRA, and cloud-based environments (Microsoft Azure).

  • Ability to work in fast-paced Agile teams with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is a plus.
