About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Information Security Officer (ISO) with 5 to 7 years of relevant experience to lead and manage our information security strategy. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud security (especially AWS), infrastructure protection, compliance, and securing telephony-based applications and networks. This role will be responsible for protecting our systems, data, and customers from evolving cyber threats across a hybrid infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define, implement, and continuously improve information security policies, standards, and procedures aligned with ISO/IEC 27001, SoC2 and other relevant frameworks.
  • Lead the company's information security strategy, focusing on a hybrid infrastructure (AWS cloud + on-prem servers + telephony).
  • Secure and monitor telephony infrastructure, including VoIP/SIP/ISDN/GSM, to ensure communication and test data integrity.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing of systems and applications.
  • Manage security operations including incident response, threat detection, logging, and forensic investigations.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable data protection laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and client-specific security requirements.
  • Oversee internal audits and support external audits for certifications such as ISO 27001, SOC 2.
  • Collaborate with DevOps, QA, and product teams to implement secure development practices (DevSecOps).
  • Lead employee security awareness training programs across the organization.
  • Provide regular reports to senior leadership on security posture, risks, and incident handling.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 5 to 7 years of hands-on experience in information security, preferably within a SaaS or telecom environment.
  • Proven experience securing AWS infrastructure, including IAM, EC2, S3, VPC, CloudTrail, and related services.
  • Strong understanding of on-prem infrastructure security, including servers, firewalls, and network segmentation.
  • Experience securing telephony/VoIP systems and familiarity with SIP, ISDN. GSM protocols and related vulnerabilities.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance frameworks: ISO 27001, SoC2, NIST, CIS, GDPR.
  • Proficient in using and managing security tools: SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
