Qualification/Skills –

1) BE Mechanical

2) Prior experience in Automation or SPM design is must

3) Prior experience in shot blasting or mass finishing machine is preferred

4) Should be able design independently with minimum guidance and supervision

5) Good communication skill

6) SolidWorks, Auto cad, Solid edge

7) Knowledge of sheet metal part design, Weldments

8) Time management, quick learner, Team player

9) Design quality

Job description –

1) Based on customer requirement do Concept design, detail machine design and

manufacturing drawings.

2) 3D part modeling, assembly, sheet metal and drafting module.

3) Material selection, brought out part selection and specification.

4) Preparing BOM and releasing through the ERP system.

5) Follow GD&T, fits and tolerances, sheet metal and welding standards while design release.

6) Should able to understand and design simple pneumatic system.

7) Should be familiar with mechanical drives arrangements and selection of brought parts.

8) Should be able to do calculations related to pneumatic and drive selections.

9) Technical support to other departments.

10) Take part in project discussion for timely execution of project.

11) Discuss with customer for required inputs, clarification and drawing approval for customer.

12) Keep upto date record of data and drawings.

13) Should be able to complete the given tasks in the given time frame

14) Should be able guide and handle a team of 3-5 designers and draftsman
