Job Title: Quality Assurance Executive Fabric Inspection

Department: Quality Assurance / Fabric Inspection

Reporting To: Quality Manager

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Shade Matching & Grouping

  2. Check and approve production lots for shade matching against master standards and lab dips.

  3. CSV & Group shades accurately for bulk dispatches to ensure uniformity within each shipment.

  4. Maintain and update shade records, shade cards, and buyer shade standards.

  5. AQL & Quality Verification

  6. Conduct AQL (Acceptable Quality Level) inspection on fabrics already checked by in-line checkers.

  7. Verify shade, hand feel, GSM, and surface quality before final packing.

  8. Identify and report variations or defects to production and QA teams.

  9. Buyer Interaction & Complaint Handling

  10. Interface with buyers/customers for fabric rechecking, approval visits, and quality audits.

  11. Investigate shade-related complaints and coordinate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

  12. Prepare quality reports and communicate findings professionally to clients.

  13. Training & Process Improvement

  14. Understand each buyer's quality and shade standards and communicate them to operators, checkers, and finishing staff.

  15. Conduct periodic training sessions on shade matching, defect identification, and documentation practices.

  16. Support continuous improvement in the shade consistency process.

  17. Documentation & Systems

  18. Maintain inspection records, shade cards, and AQL reports.

  19. Ensure compliance with internal QA procedures and buyer quality manuals
