We uphold the Vestas values of Accountability, Collaboration, Simplicity, and Commitment, which form the foundation of our culture as we pursue high-quality excellence.ResponsibilitiesDevelopment and review of electrical power system simulation models for wind and hybrid plantsDetailed exposure to grid interconnection requirements and grid codesAnalyzing site specific grid interconnection solutionsDesign and review the design for the BoP for wind power plantsPresentations and meeting with Grid operators/customers for project specific needsWork in close co-ordination with the Regional PPS colleaguesReport writing and review of reportsGuiding Engineers / Trainee in a teamExpected to lead a team and act as PSC Regional LeadQualificationsMaster's / Bachelors in Power system / Similar engineering specializationAcumen with minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in power system studies in renewable energy / Power domainExperience in design & review of renewable grid interconnection solutionsExposure to Grid codes and experience in providing a compliance for different TSOsCandidate with proficiency in english communication skillsTools experience in PSS/E Power Factory / PSCAD / ETAP / equivalent toolsCompetenciesProficiency in simulation tools like PSS/E, Power Factory, PSCAD, or equivalent toolsSolid electrical engineering background in relation to the substation engineering, Load flows, short circuit, transient analysis, harmonic assessment, relay settings & co-ordinations and eBoPYou are innovative and result oriented attitude with Managerial/Leadership exposureGood at using MS-OFFICE products (WORD / EXCEL / POWER POINT / etc)Experience in efficiently managing projects/tasks and guide a team of Engineersamiliar with Grid codes and experience in providing a compliance for different TSOsWorked in Grid code compliance studies or relevant Power system studiesWhat We OfferWe offer a very exciting job in a flat, multi-cultural and progressive department focusing on reaching world class results.
