Role & responsibilities

  • Sector : Banking, IT, Pharma, Capital goods, FMCG, Commodities
  • Conduct in-depth fundamental research and financial modeling for assigned companies and sectors.
  • Analyze company financials, annual reports, investor presentations, and regulatory filings to assess intrinsic value and long-term growth potential.
  • Track and update key financial metrics, operational performance, and corporate events regularly.
  • Prepare detailed investment notes, earnings updates, and valuation summaries for internal use.
  • Monitor sectoral trends, industry dynamics, and regulatory developments coverage universe.
  • Attend earnings calls, analyst meets, and industry conferences to stay informed on company and sector developments.
  • Work closely with the Portfolio Manager and Research Head to generate actionable investment ideas.
  • Assist in preparing investment committee presentations and internal research discussions.
  • Strong knowledge of financial statements, valuation techniques (DCF, relative valuation, etc.), and sector analysis.
  • Proficient in Excel (including financial modeling), PowerPoint, and equity databases (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-driven, detail-oriented, and intellectually curious.

Preferred candidate profile

Experience: 3-5 Years of relevant experience in research

Qualification: MBA (Finance), CA or CFA
