Roles & Responsibilities – Accounts Assistant (Fresher)

  • Assist in maintaining day-to-day accounting records and entries in accounting software.
  • Support preparation of vouchers, invoices, bills, and expense statements.
  • Help in recording bank transactions and performing basic bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with accounts payable and receivable activities, including follow-ups.
  • Support preparation of monthly reports, ledgers, and basic financial statements.
  • Maintain proper filing of accounting documents, bills, and records.
  • Assist in GST/TDS data compilation and basic statutory compliance support.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for expense verification and documentation.
  • Provide support during audits by preparing required documents and schedules.
  • Perform other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned by the senior accountant.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and statutory compliances.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g. Tally,)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
