About the Role :

Senior Cloud Platform Engineer / DevOps.

What you will be doing :

Key Responsibilities :

- Manage, monitor, and optimize our dedicated server environment.

- Set up and maintain load balancing, failover, and scaling strategies to ensure high availability.

- Implement resource management, monitoring tools, and alert systems for proactive issue detection.

- Automate deployments, server provisioning, and application scaling.

- Ensure system security, backup policies, and disaster recovery strategies.

- Collaborate with developers to improve CI/CD pipelines and streamline deployment workflows.

- Optimize application performance and infrastructure costs.

- Troubleshoot server-related issues and provide timely resolutions.

- Install, setup and manage in-house version control system.

Skill Set required :

- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, System Administrator, or Infrastructure Engineer.

- Strong knowledge of Linux/Unix systems administration.

- Hands-on experience with web/application servers (Apache, Nginx, etc.

- Knowledge of load balancing (HAProxy, Nginx, or similar).

- Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios, etc.

- Familiarity with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, or similar).

- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Shell.

- Knowledge of Docker and containerization (Kubernetes is a plus).

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.

- Strong understanding of networking, firewalls, and security best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for future migration/scalability.

- Database administration knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

- Knowledge of infrastructure cost optimization strategies.
