Job Title:
 Assistant Manager – Corporate Sustainability

Role Overview:
Support the development, implementation, and monitoring of sustainability strategies and implementation across L&T's diverse business verticals. The role involves driving ESG initiatives, ensuring compliance, data management and enhancing disclosures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sustainability KPI tracking and reporting (environmental and non environmental)
  • Collect, validate, and analyze data across business units.
  • Assist in preparing sustainability disclosures (BRSR, IR, CDP, DJSI, etc.).
  • Monitor compliance with environmental and ESG regulations.
  • Support internal/external stakeholder engagement
  • Assist in sustainability initiatives on decarbonization, circular economy, supply chain etc.
  • Research and benchmark global best practices to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Management, or related field.
  • 3-5 years' relevant experience in ESG/sustainability (EPC, infra, consulting preferred).
  • Familiarity with ESG frameworks (GRI, IR, BRSR)
  • Strong analytical, data management, and reporting skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel for ESG data analysis and Powerpoint
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
