As a SDET Lead, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of technology solutions that align with our organization's strategic goals. You will be responsible for leading the QA efforts, ensuring high-quality standards, and mentoring junior QA engineers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automation & Framework Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for both Cross platform-based desktop applications and web portal applications
• Define and implement automation strategies that complement manual testing efforts
• Collaborate with developers to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipelines
• Ensure automation coverage across functional, regression, integration, and performance areas
• Testing Expertise:
• Drive both manual and automated testing for comprehensive quality coverage
• Build and maintain robust test suites to ensure reliable regression testing
• Ensure accurate estimation for automation and testing tasks
• Performance & Scalability:
• Leverage performance testing tools and methodologies to validate system scalability and responsiveness
• Collaborate with developers and DevOps teams to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Leadership:
• Lead the SDET/QA team and provide technical mentorship on automation best practices
• Conduct code reviews, knowledge-sharing sessions, and enforce high-quality coding/testing standards
• Work closely with cross-functional teams (Dev, Product, QA) to ensure seamless test integration
• Drive test strategy discussions, ensuring alignment with product and organizational goals
• Attention to Detail & Quality Advocacy:
• Champion engineering excellence and best practices for testing
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of automation scripts, frameworks, and overall QA processes
• Ensure all products and releases meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and maintainability

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 5+ years of experience in software testing, with strong expertise in automation and test framework development
• Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (Python, Java, C#, or similar)
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent test automation tools
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI)
• Good understanding of manual testing principles to complement automation efforts
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in testing both desktop applications and web portals
• Exposure to performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust)
• Hands-on experience with API testing frameworks (e.g., Postman, RestAssured)
• Proven ability to lead a team, mentor junior engineers, and scale automation practices
• Strong focus on quality engineering, reliability, and scalability
