Senior Project Manager (10 +Years)

We are looking for an experienced and delivery-focused
Senior Project Manager
to lead and manage complex DevOps transformation and cloud infrastructure projects leveraging
Azure DevOps
. The ideal candidate should bring a strong blend of
project management expertise
and
technical understanding of Azure-based DevOps ecosystems
, ensuring seamless collaboration between cross-functional teams and successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive end-to-end delivery of large-scale DevOps and cloud infrastructure projects on
    Microsoft Azure
    .
  • Collaborate closely with DevOps engineers, architects, and client stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of CI/CD pipelines, IaC modules, and automation frameworks.
  • Translate high-level business requirements into detailed project plans, timelines, and resource forecasts.
  • Act as a bridge between technical teams and business units, ensuring clear communication and alignment.
  • Track project health, manage risks/issues, and drive resolution proactively.
  • Ensure adherence to Agile methodologies, DevOps best practices, and compliance/security standards.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through regular status updates, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
  • Support pre-sales efforts and proposal writing for DevOps projects when required.
  • Guide junior project managers or scrum masters in Agile and DevOps delivery practices.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 10+ years of IT project management experience, with at least
    3–4 years managing Azure DevOps/Cloud/Infrastructure projects
    .
  • Strong understanding of
    Azure Cloud architecture
    ,
    CI/CD workflows
    , and tools like
    Terraform
    ,
    Docker
    ,
    Kubernetes (AKS)
    , and
    Helm
    .
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git), scripting (PowerShell), and YAML configuration.
  • Solid grasp of database technologies like
    SQL Server
    ,
    Cosmos DB
    , and
    MongoDB
    , and their integration with Azure services.
  • Experience managing teams working with
    Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
    and DevOps toolchains.
  • Proficiency in Agile project delivery using tools such as
    Azure Boards
    ,
    Jira
    , or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and cross-team coordination skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects under tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
